How We Quote, Plan And Deliver

Every job starts with a free site visit. We come out, look properly at what you've got — on the roof if it's safe to access, from the ground with binoculars and a loft inspection if it isn't — and tell you honestly what's wrong, what your realistic options are, and what each option will cost. There's no charge for the visit and no obligation to use us afterwards. If we tell you a £400 repair will buy you another decade, we mean it; we'd rather quote a smaller job we can finish well than oversell you a re-roof you don't need.

When you accept a quote, we book the work in and confirm the dates in writing. Scaffolding (where needed) goes up a day or two before, materials get delivered to site, and we get on with the job. Most domestic work is finished within the timescales quoted. We update you at the end of each day, leave the site tidy each evening, and complete a full clean-down at finish.

Major installations are signed off with handover paperwork: workmanship guarantee certificate, manufacturer warranty paperwork, Building Control completion certificate where applicable, and any photographic records of work that's now hidden. You keep a copy of everything; we keep a copy of everything. If anything goes wrong within the guarantee period, we come back and fix it without argument.

Why Materials Choice Matters

That sometimes means our quote is slightly higher than someone offering a similar job in unbranded or budget materials. The difference is genuine value over the lifetime of the roof: a Welsh slate replacement done properly with copper nails on Klober breathable membrane will outlast three of the cheap alternatives.
